  1. Is my snowboard too long?

    Boards
Go it. Is this from 2001 to 2003? Does that sound right. Please post up some images when you have a chance. Board designs and construction have changed quite a bit since then.
  2. Is my snowboard too long?

    Boards
Hi Gonzo, The correct length will be determined by the specific board model. You will not have a single correct length for all models. Please let us know the model. STOKED!
  3. Going for boot sizing tomorrow

    Boots
Hi KG, Sorry I missed this. Regarding your title, it is critical that before you go to look at boots that you already know your size with confidence. Sadly, being reliant on shop employees for foot measurement is a recipe for (expensive) disaster. Based on your measurements above your left...
  4. My First Board!

    Boards
Hi, Your length measurement is correct but your width measurement is showing 3.75 inches which is 9.5 cm. That is a normal D width. You will not need a wide boot.
  5. New boots and foot pain (correct mondo size)

    Boots
Yes, that looks fine. I usually use the insole as a reference for riders who are just starting the process. Very often new riders are understandably hesitant to go to their correct Mondo size and are riding boots that are far too large. Showing them their foot on the insert is typically...
  6. New boots and foot pain (correct mondo size)

    Boots
Hi Woodhouse, I am all for experimentation but what you are experiencing above is entirely consistent with your measurements. You are Mondopoint 290 which is size 11 US in snowboard boots. Each mondopoint size has a very small range of on 5 mm. Go smaller than that range and you should...
  7. Snowboard Boot Size Web Tool - Mondo, Brannock & Internet

    Boots
Hi KG, 27.7 cm is Mondopoint 280 or size 10 US in snowboard boots. 11.1 cm is an EE width at your size which requires a very specific wide boots. I would strongly suggest either the Burton Ruler wide or the Burton Photon Wide in size 10. STOKED!
  8. XL rider

    Boards
Hi Alpha, Is 13 your boot size or shoe size? Please measure your feet using this method: Kick your heel (barefoot please, no socks) back against a wall. Mark the floor exactly at the tip of your toe (the one that sticks out furthest - which toe this is will vary by rider). Measure from the...
  9. Snowboard Boot Size Web Tool - Mondo, Brannock & Internet

    Boots
Hi DQ, You are a "standard" D width so no issues there. You are correct that you are Mondopoint 260 or size 8 in snowboard boots. STOKED!
  10. Boot help

    Boots
Please upload an image of the size label inside the boots as well as an image of your bare foot on the insert. STOKED!
  11. Do I actually need wides?

    Boots
Hi, No, you would not want those. Your length is correctly measured at 25.4 cm which is Mondopoint 255. You will want size 7.5 US in snowboard boots not size 8. You measurement above is for EE width. The Solomon Wide boots max at E width. You will not want those. You have measured your...
  12. Snowboard sizing

    Boards
That will be a strong choice. STOKED!
  13. Do I actually need wides?

    Boots
The Burton Ruler Wide or Burton Photon Wide are excellent choices.
  14. regular or wide board?

    Boards
Hi, It is really critical that you measure both feet for both width and length. That should be you very first step. Please measure your feet using this method: Kick your heel (barefoot please, no socks) back against a wall. Mark the floor exactly at the tip of your toe (the one that sticks...
  15. Do I actually need wides?

    Boots
Hi 2by2, 25.5 is the largest size in the range for Mondopoint 255 or size 7.5 US in snowboard boots. Did yo mean 4 inches? That would be EE width.
  16. Boot help

    Boots
Hi AT, You will have firm pressure all around with your toes sides and heels firmly pressing into the compliant materials of the liner. That is normal. All snowboard boots pack out ~ 1 full size over the first few weeks of riding. Heat fit will conform the liner to your foot shape. STOKED!
  17. Snowboard Boot Size Web Tool - Mondo, Brannock & Internet

    Boots
You will want the standard width board and the Medium bindings. STOKED!
  18. Do I actually need wides?

    Boots
OK, 28.8 is Mondopoint 290 or size 11 US in snowboard boots. You are still an E width at 10.9 cm so my model suggestions remain unchanged (just go with size 11). I would not suggest Burton Wide boots for you as they are designed for EEE width and that is two width sizes too large. Width is...
  19. My First Board!

    Boards
Hi Cpt, STOKED that you are getting your first board! You are wise to start by considering boot size. Lets dial that in before you go any further. Please measure your feet using this method: Kick your heel (barefoot please, no socks) back against a wall. Mark the floor exactly at the tip...
  20. Do I actually need wides?

    Boots
Wait. You have errors in your measurements. One of your feet is well over 11 cm wide and one is over 28.5 long. We need to do your width measurements again. Please put your whole foot against the wall so that your ankle bone is also touching the wall and then remeasure.
