Has anyone managed to try one of these out yet?
AngrySnowboarder had it listed as the most hyped board for the upcoming season.

Judging by the specs it’s Ride’s version of K2 Excavator. A backfoot-dominant ride in a volume-shifted board with an abrupt turn initiation with the fore-aft (5 m sidecut and a lot of taper).
Somehow comparable to Korua Pencil/Dart/CR depending on the smaller size or Rossi Sashimi (apart from the reverse flex pattern on this one).

Looks like a pow/edge speed demon deck. Back Foot heavy like the guy says in the vid. Not sure the hype behind this one on angry boarder tho. I saw that vid too and had me scratching my head. There's a niche for this deck tho. Imagine deep carving folks and deep powder runs on this would be very fun.

That might be the board I'm looking for. I love my superpig but wish it was a little faster.

I have a Dancehaul (non pro) and want something better in powder and stiffer. May end up picking this up depending on reviews, or at least demo it.

I have a Dancehaul as well and am looking at the the Peace Seeker for the same reasons.
It's pretty pricy the Peace Seeker, well it is here in Aus anyway. For same money or less you can pick up a Korua or an Amplid deck like the Souly Grail

I usually go for 262+ waist width.
I'd love an amplid; however, they are fairly pricy in the US. I can get a Peace Seeker for about $550 shipped with a discount code.

Equivalent Korua's are the same price as peace seeker in US as well.

The volume-shifted craze has been a godsend for big feet people like myself who aren't trying to ride long ass boards lol. (helps with tree maneuverability here :) )

I rode this last week at new zealand remarkables during their demo day. It was a blue bird day and the snow was a bit choppy. I'm around 80kg / us size 9 boots

It's a stiff board for its size and it can rail turns very well. I was on my very old 2008 Custom x 158cm and got on their 151cm. I find the peace seeker easier to rail from the wider width and comparable stiffness. Probably wasn't use to riding a short board so I over rotated quite a bit ( fs180 turn into 360). However it's a fun board overall and I'm quite confident in taking the board to choppy off piste stuff. It's one of the more versatile boards I ridden in a while. If I'm in the market for new boards this is definitely going to be on my shortlist

How mellow can you be with this, do you have to be aggressive all the time?

I'm hoping you can relax a bit with it. Coincidentally I also rode a Custom X (161 if I remember correctly, maybe 163) and it was extremely fast and stable, but man if you relaxed or slowed down it absolutely tried to murder you. I picked up a Peace Seeker 151 a few weeks ago and I can't wait to try it out. I've been wanting something stable and fast but something that you don't have to constantly be on top of. In his review, Angry Snowboarder said you can be "mellow while cruising a blue." I trust his reviews, and I hope he's right. I loved the Custom X but I just couldn't take having to be "on" all of the time.
Excavator and Peace Seeker are nothing alike. If anything from the K2 line would be like it, it would have been the old Carve Air or the regular Simple Pleasures but even those don't turn like it. You can be mellow on a blue and then step on it and just lay it over. Seriously one of the best turning boards I've been on in the last few years.

Since you are probably the only person who has ridden both. How does the Peace Seeker compare to the Nerd Super Position? I'm looking for a directional board that I can take all over the mountain (but mostly on groomers and excluding park) that is just a blast to turn and carve on, but isn't a overly aggressive super stiff ride. I keep coming back to the Peace Seeker, Super Position, and the Season Nexus.

So I know fuckall about the Season stuff other than it's Evo's store brand stuff. But between the PS and SP. The SP is more of a cruisy carver where you can be laid back half the time if you want to while the PS is balls to the wall carving with a laid back maybe 20% of the time. For what you're describing I'd say you probably want the Nerd because it won't fatigue you as much to lay a trench with it.

Looks like @BurtonAvenger just named it the #1 carving board for this season.

Anyone else have experience on the Peace Seaker? I picked up a 151 and I'm excited to try it out. Curious to see how it handles straight lining to gain speed or just navigating a slower trail.

I have a Bataleon Carver I love but it has to be put away when the runs get chopped up. I'm hoping the Peace Seeker with it's shorter length compared to the 158 Carver, will be a little more maneuverable when it gets choppy. Also, good edge hold on icy, hard conditions.
While I love carving, I hate carving on a small sidecut. The peace seeker has the smallest sidecut I've ever seen at 4.5/7.5. When you lay a board over, that sidecut dictates the turn size. It's easy to flex a board into a smaller turn but its hard to flex it into a larger turn. I personally hate swoopy little turns and love having more time in a carve. I'm blown away that Angry named it the number one carver. Did he lay it out?

I’ve gotten mine out a few times lately, boards ridiculously fun, you look at it and it wants to carve a circle. Got it into soft knee deep yesterday, slopes and trees and it’s like a supercharged gokart, whipped through the crud as it started to lump up, nose floated like a dream and the kicked up tail was a hoot to press n swizzle on

I need a few more days but the flaired tail also made more drawn out carves easier then I thought it would be, not quite sure why yet but it just wants to jump carve when you flex the tail

all in all it took a day to figure out but is incredibly fun with a super fast base, as a 250lb ogre I was shocked by how locked in I felt on a 155

Finally got to ride my 151 peace seeker today and it didn’t disappoint. Early season east coast conditions in West Virginia. Man made snow and some ice, frozen sections but not bad for not having decent snowfall.
My concerns of the board being too serious or not manageable At slow speeds or going straight on cat tracks were false. The board was good everywhere. It does seem like it turns before you tell it to and it likes to lay over, but it will still skid to scrub speed or stop suddenly without too much work.

I’ve been searching for a carving oriented, volume shifted board that was good in hard snow, as well as when things get soft and deep. Since I’m usually riding with my kids some of the day I needed it to be able to handle slower trails and quick carves and then faster runs with longer carves when I get a chance.

The PS was fast, stable, with great edge hold. One thing that stood out was how it almost gains speed while carving hard. I was behind some skiers going straight and I caught up to them and had to pass. I have a gnu gremlin and I love that board but it does seem to scrub a lot of speed on edge for me maybe due to the magna traction or maybe it’s just me.

I brought other boards with me but I had no need to change boards. The PS does it all for me and I wish it came out a few seasons ago when I really started the board search.

The reviews sounded a little aggressive for the PS but if you like to turn and got fast then give it a try. I’ll be out west soon and can’t wait to try it in the trees and some fresh snow.
