Has anyone managed to try one of these out yet?
AngrySnowboarder had it listed as the most hyped board for the upcoming season.

Just read "The Good Ride" review and I disagree with them saying the board wouldn't straight line or skate well. I had zero issues with this board anywhere. Lot of straight lines out here and I didn't have it catch or try to kill me once. It did everything I wanted it to do with no compromises and I never felt like I should swap it out for another board. Thinking back, I never even lost an edge or washed out a heel side turn even though I wasn't fulling committing due to the rough conditions.

Really can't say enough good things about it. It was like they read my mind and made exactly the board I was looking for.

thats very odd, I haven’t felt like mine is squirrely at all, only stability downside I’ve seen is high speeds due to its short EE (and my weight)

Snowsurf also says it's a bit limited at very high speed and bigger terrain--but for opposite reason than TGR, they are super strong freeriders. Other than that, they agree with everybody, they say it's an awesome board, super fun for all kind of stuff from jumps to carve to shred, as long as you don't ride out switch.

It's not surprising that with shorter radius and tail, you lack a bit of bombing ability. I mean, compared to a Berzerker or something this caliber.

Only thing I don't like is those pointed tips. Fragile to careless skiers in lift lines and resting the board vertically, dangerous if someone plows into the back of you on the slopes.
This is my one beef with ride's even outside the tips, top sheet gets scratched if you look at it wrong

Side note, pointy tips are excellent for standing the board up in the snow

What kind of Binding‘s do you guys throw on your Peace Seeker ?

I thought about the Now Drive with the Medium Bushings and straps in surfmode .. ?
depending on conditions change to hard bushings and flip straps over.

-Would the O-Drive be to much for a 151 ?
-Is the Katana too surfy, maybe lacking response for a volume shifted carver ?

I don’t t want to put my Malavita or GenX reflex on because I am afraid of Topsheet damage

Riding with Katanas, definitely feels locked in and does everything I want it to -short, quick, medium, long deep trench carves

got a pretty good deal on it already!
I never pay full price. Waiting for early discounts or past season price drop is a must..
(ok, I did, once, years ago)
Agreed on that. Last two buys for me were a new Rome Blur for $300 and a new Amplid Surfari for $480. Makes paying $600 for a Peace Seeker before tax a bit unappealing.

Got a 20% deal on the PS = 460€
And 20% on the Burton Forager = 640€

Think it will take a while until these prices are beaten + the risk of selling out the right size ..
talked to a guy from Burton /Austria and he said that they are very limited on the numbers this year because of missing out resources ..
