I'm looking at possibly getting another board to compliment my 2011 T. Rice. I really love the T. Rice but would like something a little softer and more playful.

I can get a Rome Artifact Rocker for $170, which sounds like a steal, but I've read that it is purely a jib board. I'm in Michigan, so I'd like to be able to do a little bit of carving on the small hills here as well as some small jumps, rails, and boxes.

Do you think this would be a good board for that or should I keep looking?

I'm 5'11", 195, and have a size 10 boot.

Thanks for the help.

from one MI rider to another it's purely a jib board a buddy of mine has one and he's like 150 pounds and bends it like a wet noodle. I thought about getting one of those on closeout from Evo but at your size (I'm a few pounds heavier) I'm not sure it would be versatile enough to really carve on our icy hills. Then again, our hills are relatively small and you could probably get away with it as long as you're not looking for high end alpine capabilities.
