Looking to buy a new all mountain freestyle board... Any recommendation for 12/13 season board?

No more park for me. Probably still do some jumps off the kickers but won't be doing any more park laps. I had enough of injuries... lol

I'm looking for a cruiser. I still like to play around in the mountain. I rather be skating around than charing down the mountain. Also if the board can handle the pow days, it will be a bonus for me - saves me carrying another board.

My main board used to be arbor blacklist 154, and looking for something in 157-158. Hoping to get rid of salomon powder snake 160 as well.

Yes The Greats or Rome Agent Rocker maybe?
I bought the rome myself, and so far im very happy with it.
Lib Tech Skate Banana is always a fun board to cruise with, and it works in pow great in pow aswell, atleast if you go for the wide version.

burton Sherlock? Powder oriented but still fun for cruising groomers. I find mine an easy ride, not catchy.

Arbor Coda does everything you're asking for. Great cruising board, really stable but playful. And really nice in pow due to the softer nose and rocker. I'm using ist for pretty much anything and it has never disappointed me.

What size coda is recommended for me? I'm around 165 to 175 pounds and wear US 10.5 boots. 157 or 159?

I was actually thinking about sherlock as well.

I'm 180 lbs and ride the 59. In your case I'd go with the 57. Good compromise between stable and playful. If you want to have it a bit more stable and good for charging you can easily go with the 59 though.

Coda since you're familiar with System Rocker.

If you wanna branch out look into the Yes Greats, K2 Happy Hour, Salomon Villain, Signal Omni, or a Flow Rush for something on the stiffer side.

Nivek, is the Villain really comparable to the other boards? I'm very interested in that board because I find the camber profile very appealing but from what I've read it seems to be more on the park side than the Greats or Omni for example. Would you recommend it as an all mountain ride?

I've also heard great things about the Sabotage. How would you compare them?

In flex not really. But I wouldn't hesitate to ride the 53 at 150lbs everywhere every day. Even in the backcountry on sleds to be honest. Took a 55 Assasin up Buff and would rather of had that Villain.

Just upsize one from your park size and you're set.

How's villain and happy hour perform on pow days?

157 coda isn't avaialbe in my local store. They have happy hour in 157. I need to check villain. I'm actually quite interested in this board :)

I'm down to 3 options now
1. Arbor Coda 159
2. K2 Happy Hour 157
3. Salomon Villain 158

What do you reckon I should go for? I probably be spending more time in the backcountry since I'm leaving the park... lol

One more thing - any difference between 11/12 happy hour and 12/13 happy hour? 11/12 is cheaper by $80

Ended up getting 11/12 K2 Happy Hour 157 because this was the cheapest...

Anyway, much difference between 11/12 and 12/13?

I have Rome 390 Boss (I think 11/12) and Burton Malavita (12/13 I think, can't remember). Which should I use? So I can get of one of it.
