there is a snowboard expo near me coming up and I'm looking to buy a new board, but dont know what to get.
I posted the same thread before, and i am just looking for additional help to narrow down the choices
I have only gone boarding 2 times in the last few years, but have a season pass and am looking to get going again.
I used to ride a Arbor element alt 161 with burton cartel bindings that I liked, but felt slow on groomers.
I rode mainly powder and back country, while still enjoying groomers, and I am looking for a board that fits this again.
looking for mainly 2014 boards unless there is a 2015 that is really worth looking into.
These are the boards that I have been reccommended:
Burton Flight Attendant
Jones Aviator
Slash Straight
K2 Peace Keeper
Flow Drifter
K2 Turbo
K2 Ultra
Yes PYL
Yes Basic
Smokin kt22
Yes Greats
Flux ds
Also, if you think the arbor element alt is just as good as these, let me know.
also binding suggestions would be great!
suggested before:
Burton Diode
Union Factory
I am looking basically for a board binding combo that would be easy to start back up on, and will be killer in the powder and on groomed runs.... i dont do any park stuff, but want a very responsive board.
I am 5'11" and 175lbs
any suggestions are appreciated
