In the midst of planning a trip there for sometime in February. Is there enough acreage/terrain to justify 3 consecutive day of riding? Or would 2 days be plenty? We generally spend most of our time in the trees and looking for pow stashes, so hopefully we're lucky enough to come during a storm cycle. Past trips to places like CO/UT/Tahoe, we tend to ride 3-4 consecutive days and either different mountains everyday or only repeating one.

Can't really help on advice. Hope there's snow for you. When I was there, it hadn't snowed in weeks and everything that was open was bulletproof hardpack. Rained a bunch on the second day. Said screw this and went fishing and sight seeing for the rest of the trip.

Fortunately, Alaska is fucking amazing even if the snowboarding sucks.
