Anyone have experience with a Burton Protest?

Hi guys,

I've been thinking about upgrading my burton custom smalls 140 to a burton protest 145, especially because I've been getting more into jumps and more rotations so I want that stable ride that I think camber will give me (more than the flying V profile) but I'm worried that it will compromise my jib/butter game on the mountain. Will I still be able to butter on the burton protest? I've been riding Custom Smalls boards for the past few years and I guess I'm worried that the protest will be too stiff. thanks!!

My son went from a Custom Smalls 125 to a Protest 136 this year. He weights about 95lbs and says that does like the Protest a lot. He is more of a carver than a park kid though. He is currently working on riding switch and jumps with 180's, but doesn't do any rails or butters, so I can't answer that question. The Protest is a stiffer board, and add going from a 140 to 145 will also make it feel stiffer for you.
