anyone working in thredbo? 2013 season

I just got an on slope inter view coming up this winter.( board school)
but it is a heavy investment and a fair bit of time to go to the interview.
Anyone ever done one before?
anyone know any one who works there need to know if it's worth the risk
flights,accom, travel going to cost about a grand.

I'll be in the kitchen at a restaurant on the hill called kareela hutte working my first season :D carpooling down from sydney so each way transport will cost me around 20-50 bucks i'm predicting. should be fun
