Which of these two boards would be the best pick for beginner/intermediate, all-mountain riding, mostly groomers?

It's a great board, a little stiffer than the indoor survival, and because of FK it's something anyone of any ability can ride and enjoy a great deal.

It was sure as hell not stiffer than my Indoor. I'd put it between the Indoor and Ultra.

Purely cause of price the Formula makes more sense. And it is a pretty solid board.

though I'd really look for a K2 Raygun or older Flow Infinite I-Rock.

I can only speak from experience.

1. I'm from California, soooo I'm not sure what ice reeeeeally is.
but
If it's anything like riding where I ride at night then, yeah, it should be fine for icy groomers and the park.

Good edges and rider skill though do more for ice than anything.
