I really wanna learn how to snowboard. Yesterday I bought 2 used snowboards , one is a Ride Fleetwood, size 58.. it’s got Burton bindings. The other is a “Confusion” snowboard? idk if that’s the brand .. it’s got vision bindings.. around the same size as the Ride one .. i’m about 130lbs, so the snowboards should be good for my size.. they’re in alright condition, once i get better i plan on buying a better snowboard (i paid $60 for both. so $30 for each).. I live 45 min away from Mt. Baldy and 1 hr away from Big Bear.. where should i go first? What ski pass should I buy? any tips ?? idk how to start or what to do lol

UPDATE 01/12/2021:
I got the midweek pass for big bear. I went to Bear Mountain today and it was really great. I didn’t get lessons but I was just watching youtube videos and they really helped. The only main thing that i’m struggling with is slowing down or stopping. Whenever I try to skid , I just go straight down and fall.
I’m gonna watch more youtube and go again tomorrow

Ikon is for big bear/snow summit. Good luck with baldy being open enough.

Spend the money on boots. Now is a great time to buy last year's stuff at a discount.

Welcome to snowboarding! Get some lessons if you can afford it. Youtube can be great for getting a feel for what needs to happen, but some hands on feedback goes a long way. I wish I had taken more lessons when I was starting out. Either way, I hope you have a great time.

Youtube is good. But the creepy basement video on here is good too. Haha.

PLEASE get lessons and stay on the beginner hill for safety, especially on the weekends when its crowded. Also don't wear jeans and do wear gloves, and a HELMET. Check that those bindings actually work too, at that price they may fall apart on the slopes if the straps are aging.

Haven't been to Mt Baldy but I have been to Bear Mountain/Snow Summit. Bear mountain gets pretty crowded so I would recommend either Mt High or Snow Valley if you can. There's less terrain but there's also usually much less people there.
