Bindings for a Jones MT?

Looking at grabbing an upgraded board for this year (my last one is a 10 year old Burton Clash). Planning for a Jones MT and considering a few bindings. Would love your thoughts. Boot are Burton Rulers
  • Rome Katana (a bit expensive, but sounds like everyones incredibly happy with these)
  • Burton Cartel X (apparantly a do-everthing binding, so in case i ever need to switch boards, I may be able to reuse these bindings for something else).
  • Union Atlas (seen some folks mention this one, not too sure)
  • Jones Mercury / Now (Heard good things about the skatetech and responsiveness here).

I'm leaning towards the Katana or the Cartel x.

Any insights on what would work well for me? I'm a stronger intermediate boarder, all-mountain + side hits / powder, no specific desire to hit the park and the closest I'll go to freestyle may be some switch / butters.

Thank you!

I own now drives, katanas and old cartels from before X was introduced. I vote Now drive! Katanas are good too if you want more lateral(?) flex/movement and a bit more board feel in comparison. Drives are the most comfortable and shock absorbing bindings I ever tried - makes my feet less tired on hard snow days.
