Funny thing, I was teaching my kids on the bunny hills Xmas day last year and in the afternoon it was stupidly busy with massive lineups for the magic carpets while the chairs had hardly any lines.

For the learning hills or whole resort?? I think after about 4 more people arrived. Was there till only about 6 pm last year.

that was on the bunny hills only, especially the ones served by the magic carpet.

Xmas day last year in the late afternoon it started to get a little busier but it was zero lineup most of the day except the bunny hills which were madness.

Back when I lived in the GTA we used to go to Blue for new years eve every year. The slopes were quiet but there was always a good party in one of the bars! :yahoo:

Last year we went to Lake Louise for boxing day, hill was almost empty... The day after it was a zoo!

I'm trying to convince my GF that we don't need to be home for xmas, and that the 24th-26th is a perfect time to be at one of the hills in our area.

Yea reason why it is nice to snowboard on Christmas Day, everyone is at home opening presents lol. Greatest gift I could get would be having the hill to myself!!

Guess it usually is a good time to learn when there is "no one around" lol

This will be my third year at Blue at Xmas, and it's true, the 24th and 25th are great, no crowds, at least the last two years.
