Hello
New to the forum
Intermediate-Advanced Rider
5' 10" 165-170 LBS
Please excuse this long post
Torn between some boards
Need to buy before ride because demoing is not on my financial menu
All 2013 boards
Burton Custom Flying V (Pref.) Ride Buckwild, Skate Banana, Mod Rocker
Or any other rides around $300-$350, need to get last years
The LibTech and Rome are much different from the Burton and Ride
Definitely don't want to be some hyped up fan buying the mainstream
Although, I have 3 Loaded Long boards and their boards shred, hehe...
Buying boots/bindings at the local store
Ordering the board from Evo
Definitely wanted to feel the boots in a binding, in person
At Hunter, I rented a Burton maybe?
I have a video of it but not sure what board
Didn't believe it was the most killer board, so...
Kinda of need a do it all board, top to bottom.
In the NE, so the powder is low.
Hitting small jumps, boxes and rails, not major
Really like buttering, popping ollies off natural bumps
Want to bomb hills and be able to surf around.
Always on the hunt to find natural snow waves to surf and hack on.
For me, the more Diamonds the better.
Thought the Custom Flying V had it all
Came down to the medium flex over the Buckwild
The Rome and Libtec just seemed that they would squirrel at high speeds
But probably be forgiving and killer in hacking and slashing away at things
Not sure where I was going with this post but thought I'd ask for opinions on the boards and which one might suit my style better.
There's a part of me that says,
any snowboard will do the job, its all about the rider.
Just wanted to get the ride right, out of the box
Let me know what you think?
Thanks
