Yeah, try the boot on with no liner in it to see hos much room you have to work with. The liner can adapt pretty much. I have very little experience with burtons though since my feet hates them.
sounds like you could make it work, but you may be in for a couple of painful first days. And at the price you can probably get most of your money back on the second hand market if it doesn’t work out.I did try them without the liner. My toes do not touch the front and if I jam them in the front I can almost fit a finger between my heel and the boot, but not fully.
