I was super excited to start my 4 1/2 year old daughter snowboarding with mommy this year and I've got everything she needs, with one glaring exception (Duh Duh DUUUUHHHH) I can't find little kids size 9 snowboard boots ANYWHERE!
Having snowboarded for years, I know the importance of finding boots that fit properly and I really want her to get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of snowboarding, but the smallest boots they make are size 1 that I can find and that is entirely too many sizes too big even to stuff socks into the toes or double up on the wool socks.

I'm thinking about going old school and just picking up some Sorels that fit her properly (remember those days?) and running with it. I figure with a good high back binding, she should be alright with the support... but I'm fully open to any suggestions that anyone else has. Has anybody else experienced this issue or does anybody have any thoughts or suggestions?

I just have my kid in boots that are too big. They dont make boots that are smaller then like an 11 kids. Since the kid wont be walking and wont be carving I think dealing with the larger boot will be less of an issue.

For a while she should be fine with regular boots. She's not going to be stressing her highbacks or anything.
