I have a problem: My boots slip forward in my bindings. I have a rental board, and the bindings are cheap no-name bindings and they're a toe strap design, not a toe cap. At the end of each day, when my boots, bindings, etc. are wet, the strap doesn't grip my boot and it slides forward in the bindings.
I've tried tightening the straps (Both ankle and toe), and it doesn't solve the problem. Now my boots slip forward AND my foot hurts.
Is there any way to fix this? Or should I buy some bindings and put them on my rental board? I just started this season, but I've been out 7 times on this board, and I have a pretty clear picture of what I want to do - mostly freeriding on groomed resort trails, no backcountry (at least not in the east), and maaaybe a tiny bit of park at the end of the season.
