They should fit just fine. They are both Burton, so they take into account that type of sizing. I have the large Cartel est which is 10+ because my old boots where a size 10. Then I got the restricted hails in a 9.5. They have the smaller footprint also, like the ambush. I haven't had any problems getting the bindings nice and tight.
Burton Cartel EST Bindings
Hi guys,
Bit of a newbie here and hoping for some advice.
I'm looking at getting a set of 2013 Cartel EST bindings in medium size, along with the bindings I was going to purchase a pair of size 8 2013 Ambush boots (I know I have small feet for a guy!!).
Anyway on the sizing chart for the bindings they say 8-11 for a medium but you tube reviews that I have seen say that the Ambush boots have a footprint 1 size smaller, presumably making these a 7. Does that mean that the bindings will be too big for the boots?

Is your boot size 8 or shoe size 8?
My boot size is 7.5 and my shoe size is 8. I fit in medium atlas (i know different company) but the size 8 will fit in the medium.
