I have a brand new Proto that I won't be able to ride the whole year because I tore my acl. Right now I just have it in a snowboard bag saving it for next year. Should I put a layer of wax on it to keep the board from going dry, or just keep it the way it is?

If it's brand new, it should have a coat of storage wax on it already. I wouldn't bother waxing it. Don't torture yourself.

Sucks to hear about the injury.

That's harsh. Just put it up somewhere and try not to think about it. The wax on it already should be fine.

It'll be fine if you keep it in the bag and stored somewhere. It sucks that you are injured. I have a broken ankle right now and hopefully will be able to try snowboarding in a month or so.

Did you need surgery or no?

I didn't think it took that long to recover if you didn't have surgery, but heard up to 9-10 months if you had surgery.... Ughhhhh!!
