I second this motion.
I've hit this same wall too. These days I don't bother clicking on it and upping the view count, let alone responding--unless it's actually something original. Heck, even some of the so-called reviews I've seen are completely useless imho too.Lately, I am so sick of the redundant, pointless posting (You know, the "what board should I get for park" question posted next to 5 of the exact same post) that I am tempted to just hit "delete" whenever I see them.....:dunno:
Sweet! I bet it would happen alot faster if there was an extra mod on duty. I wonder who could fill that role? Hmmm....Edit:...cleaned up the first page will get more done as I have time.....
Haha, I put this in the general snowboarding forum, but didn't know there was a forum where I could get moderators attention.Mods, can someone go into the Equipment Review section and clean it up? I'm thinking that the way that sub-forum should be, is for people to write their personal reviews on their gear. The OP of each thread created in there should be a review--not a noob asking a question. Sure there will be questions/discussions within each thread, but the topic of each thread should begin with an ACTUAL REVIEW. All other general question asking threads should be moved to the appropriate sub-forum (boards/bindings/boots/outerwear). I know it will take some time, but I think it would be a very valuable effort. It will be much easier for vets and noobs alike to start their search in the review section alone when they're looking for specific info. Hopefully this will play a small part in cutting down on some of the annoying and repetitive questions being asked these days.
Normally, no. I always whizzed by that forum reading it as news and updates. Apparently I omitted the "suggestions" partSo you are one of the "problem children"?......:cheeky4:
