Hey, I just bruised my tailbone really bad for the second time, this time on a rainbow box, and I've decided I don't want to be put out of commission for the week for an injury like that. So I'm looking at two different padded shorts, the Demon Snow Flex Force Pro, and the ProTec shorts. Does anybody have any experience with either? thanks.

If I may add to this, anyone commenting please indicate if the tailbone protector is hardshell or just foam. I have a pair of pro-tec shorts that are just soft foam pads all around. Completely useless IMO.

My girlfriend loves her azzpad. Completely changed her riding, nearly eliminated the fear of catching a heel edge.

I've got some Protec IPS. Foam padding. Doesn't have any cheek protection which is an issue for some.

While not really noticeable under any pants, they feel like diapers and don't fit well around the lower thighs. Someone with chunky thighs would fill them better.

For best protection, especially on the tail bone, I'd recommend hard shell protection for sure.

I'd go with the Skeletools. I stuffed two pads after busting my tailbone. Then after I recovered, I switched back to 1 pad.
