Where I ride, Bear and Summit, the jump runs are all perfectly manicured (when the snow is good enough) evenly spaced, far apart jumps. Which is fine. When I've traveled it's the same thing (Mammoth, Denver, Seattle, Tahoe).

But I would love to just ride and practice on little bullshit lines like this. It really feels like a skate park and you can get real creative with what you do. I think I'd advance a lot faster with something like this.

For those who ride Timberline, was this made just for the event? Or is there something like that all season? It just looks really fun.

That was made specifically for that event. The area it was built was right under the beginner chair lift. I'm sure it's gone now.

You should make your way up to White Pass in Washington State if you want to ride something like that right now. For the last couple years they've had a competition like that called the "Rhythm and Bruise" in the spring. They should be building it right about now so it will be rideable by next week. Its pretty fun, kinda like a bmx type of course
