Hey guys,

New to the forum, looking to get rid of a few boards that I feel could be potential collector status. I am posting on here to find out worth and gauge interest. I can't find many of these around on ebay and was hoping to get some feedback.

Board 1: 2006(?) K2 World Wide Weapon - 147 - has artwork done by The London Police. Has a stomp pad on it along with a Grenade sticker that is peeling off. Was my first board, and was purchased used, so has some wear.

Board 2: 2009 Burton Private Stock - 154 - has the R. Crumb artwork on it. Was barely used (didn't like the v-rocker... bought mostly because I love Fritz the Cat) and has a perfect top sheet (has some wax on it from a sloppy job done by the shop the last time it was in for a tune) and a small mar on the base (got a very small ding taken out, about 1.5 cm deep that was filled back in... not huge.) Has the matching mission restricted est bindings... I know this board was very limited in edition.

Board 3: 2010(?) Burton Meateaters - 154 - Has the quote "When a porn site strips away your identity and savings account, no-one understands your pain." I know this one was also limited in availability, was used a lot more than the private stock because I dug its profile (hybrid - "camel humps") but was not marred in the process. Still perfect top sheet, base is really nice, and has the Burton Cartel Restricted bindings on it.

I would sell these for the right price, and would prefer someone local that can come pick it up, but am not opposed to shipping, you would have to pay the difference. I live in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking! :happy:Hope you all have a killer season!

A picture is worth a thousand words... In a for sale thread that number bumps up to half a million :hairy:

This is the 'Private Stock'. The second of the series (the first was Ron English). 154, made in Vermont. There is a scar going through the girl's face from a small core shot. Not too deep, a base grind and a good wax job would probably hide it...

This is the K2 World Wide Weapon/London Police collab. The London Police are a graffiti crew out of... guess where. They have major spots in all sorts of European cities. The board is a 147. It is my fav. design wise, and will go on my wall if it doesn't go to a nice home. This board has been used the most, it was my first board. I hit it for two seconds with a scrubby sponge and some soapy water and it cleaned up nice. With a little elbow grease it would be in great shape. Base is in awesome shape.

Please keep in mind that I am not desperate to sell. I know for a fact two of these boards were extremely limited (the burton ones) and I know of a bunch of people that bought these boards and rode them to death or broke them. So now they are even more limited. They even have matching bindings (that are also limited). The London Police board was really hard for me to find on google when I was trying to figure out what it was. I have seen two on ebay in the 6 years I have owned it. One is up right now, and he acknowledges that it is pretty rare. It was also my fav. board to ride. Any input is greatly appreciated, and I will entertain anything reasonable for an offer, knowing that these are in pretty good shape.

Hey thanks for the input!

Yah I kind of figured that. I was hoping the limited release for the Burtons (the only allowed 100 shops aside from their 3 flagship stores to sell them, and at that they only had a small production run of each size, i.e. the shop in town here only had 1 or 2 of each size available...) would have helped as well as the collab for the K2 (i've been searching for the D*Face/Rome collab too but they've been all beat up... also, the London Police and R.Crumb are still alive, which means they had creative input, unlike collabs with artists like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring because they've been long dead and the prints aren't new or original works of theirs...)

I might have to wait another 5 years or so before they prove to be something, or 20 so they are truly 'vintage' haha.

Again, thanks for looking!
