Hey guys
Im looking for a board that is good for medium kickers (20-30 ft knuckle to knuckle) and Riding Fast. I also wanna be able to butter, and 50-50 some boxes and rails occasionally. I know thats a lot for a board to handle. My priorities for a board is
1. Kickers
2. Fast
3. Butters
4. Rails
Right now i ride a burton honcho stiff camber, which i can't butter on but i can grind and can go fast
budget > 800 preferably 600 range
Im looking at the Rome Mod Rocker, Never Summer Proto CTX and the Bataleon Whatever
I know there is alot more
Any Suggestions?

Burton Honcho is a 3/10 on the stiffness scale, I don't think you'll get a board that's much easier to butter while still being stable at high speeds and on big jumps.

I would have said the good old Burton Custom would be a good board for speed and kickers, and I know guys that butter, slide, press them quite often, but they're stiffer than the Honcho as far as I know!

Is your honcho too long for your weight?!?

Even if you get to a 12 you don't have abnormally large feet, even for 5'10.

You don't need a wide, and wont till you hit 11.5's.

You deck is too big.

Get yourself a Salomon Sabotage 154, Flow Era 153, Arbor Blacklist 154, Nitro Rook 154, Signal Park 154, Flow Shifty 154, Burton Parkitect 154, or a Bataleon Whatever 153.

No wonder you can't butter...

As everyone said, get off the wides. Unnecessary.

So, Proto CT 154 if you go that route.

Ride Machete - Stiffer all-mountain freestyle board. Quite speedy, good pop, and stable. This is more of a jump board than it is a rail board.

2013 Ride Machete Snowboard Review

Burton Joystick - Full on rocker, but a mellow one. Great pop as expected from the B. Not quite as fast as the Machete and definitely not as stiff and damp. This is still a good jump board, but it's going to be more forgiving than the Machete in all aspects of your riding. Directional Twin.
