So, word on the street is that one of the main contributers to Global warming is the meat industry. The head of the IPCC, Rajendra Pachauri, said that reducing meat intake is one of the most effective things you can do.

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Shun meat, says UN climate chief

So how about it, is snowboarding worth reducing your dead animal intake?

Yea Pow > mass consumption of meat. I already don't eat very much meat, the hard part is convincing all those obese people going through the drivethrough at Mickey D's.

I'm trying to get buddy-buddy with a hunter around here. Come December they give you all kinds of free elk, venison, moose steaks. It's like community steak service!

this isn't that kind of thread....

But i'm suprised at the acceptance of this fact. Last time i posted this a year or more ago on some other snowboard forums the response was lukewarm, and whne i posted it on a the snowjapan forums (mostly rich auzzies) they threw a fit.
