Where you going? I will likely be at snowbasin Thursday maybe Friday and Saturday.
Yup the weather pattern sucks. There area couple brush bys possible this week. Good chance they won't bring anything. Might be a change around Sunday with a stronger system possible.
Plan on spring conditions. If you go to the bird you could get a little snow by the weekend.if avoid Park City,if any of these weak systems bring moisture i would think they are most likely to see rain. But that's my opinion.
Just don't expect powder, otherwise the conditions are still decent considering the February we just had

Cancel and save yourself some money?

Looks like it's going to be about a week and then snow is going to start coming in a plenty in the West. This is the one big drawback about El Nino. Warm storms.
can't man. all booked and no cancellation policy.

canyons (only b/c we're staying there), brighton and snowbird

I love riding in 40 degree temps and 20 degree powder. What sucks is riding cold concrete. The warm temps will softens the snow and you can wear light clothes. Its a win win.
you think it'll still be fun?

enough coverage to get into the trees?

so, so bummed we're missing powder by a week. just my luck.

There's enough coverage in the trees but it's probably not worth the effort for what you find there.who knows you could get lucky though. Would think that canyons will have the worst coverage of those resorts.
Possible that I will go to the bird but I'm saving my pass there for a pow day

I've been to Utah in late March.
It rained in SLC yet snowed top of the mountain (Snowbird and Solitude).
If you had this winter in the east, anything is better.
Just go with it and make the most out of it.
