For the colder days, it's either heated gloves or gloves with the zippered pocket for the hot hands packs. Any suggestions for good gloves, or warnings about bad gloves?

Zippo makes some hand warmers I've heard good things about. I run hot, so I've never tried them though.

I know you mentioned gloves... but have you tried mittens? I know they're not for everyone, but in general, they are much warmer as you keep your fingers together and can fit glove liners of various weights and heater packs inside as well.

I use Burton [ak] Guide and they are pretty damn solid. Never had any problems with being cold.

However some people have a tendency for cold extremities.

Warmest and most comfy mitts for me. Would be the Burton Oven Mitt.

Always tempted to buy mitts but most on this thread are vouching for it so I guess it's about time to get a new one.
