Hi all

Just wondering if you'd like to watch my heliboarding in Alaska video from Feb 2011. You can watch it here on Youtube CPG Entry 2 by Jason Williams and Mia Low - YouTube

If you enjoy it please click LIKE in Youtube (requires Youtube account) as this will help me win a week heliboarding with Chugach Powder Guides in Girdwood. Such an awesome experience and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing in Colorado. I just want to know how much heliboarding will cost? I know it is a little pricey, but from the time I started snowboarding it has always been something that I have really wanted to do.

Ehh... as noted by a few people here, heli-boarding in CO and Utah isn't really worth it.

Most of the same terrain is accessible by sled and/or skinning/hiking.

Silverton, CO has heli-drops for I think $150 per drop if you wanted to do it.

I just know if I were going heli-boarding, it would be somewhere "exotic" that you simply cannot get to by any other means (like AK or the Monashees).

I appreciate the info. That's good to know for when I decide to actually start planning for it. I'll look into Alaska since I've never been there, and I definitely want to put give those mountains up there a good ride sometime.
