Hey, working on my spins (180s) and wanting to be able to go off bigger jumps. The video was from this weekend and is my first day going off of jumps at this size. While i did get smoother through the weekend i would appreciate some feed back as this is the only video i have. Any tips besides more reps would be appreciated. I will be heading out this weekend again.

Also, when landing blind can you peak where you are going to land or do you just look back at the jump? Right now i am looking at the lip of the jump, i have watched SA videos and the 360 video he says knuckle, but in the 180 he just says back up the meowntain.

Looks pretty good to me! Suck your knees up a bit is my only comment. Landing blind, I look at the knuckle while I'm in the air and then as I pass it and land I end up looking behind me. Does that make sense? Good on you for hitting switch too.

Thanks, yes that does make sense. Just so im clear, you look back and then kinda down as you pass over the knuckle, then just keep your eyes on the knuckle the rest of the time?

When I pop back ones I pretty much look just down over my nose/left shoulder (regular) toward the knuckle. At first it's in front of me but as I slowly rotate and travel over it I'm looking down at it, once I pass it now I'm looking back at it. I almost kinda just look at my nose the whole time and the knuckle is in view the whole time... then I land I just slowly look forward again. It's weird after doing it so many times its just kinda subconscious and I'm not like "where's that knuckle" I just see it past my nose.

hmmm, i kinda turn my head right before i hit the lip and then look up at the lip. I will try out looking at the nose when i go out on sat. Thanks for the advice.

Ya LL has the best park by far. they have a couple that have some nice kick to them as well, and they just got a whale tail. In the lower park they have smaller jumps to help progress as well. I am trying to learn 360s down there (its going ok but i don't have video of that).

If you go through half of the upper park and then the lower park you get 7 jumps, most of them medium, a couple larges and a small.

If you keep going down to the XLs you can technically get 8 but the last xl is super hard to have enough speed for (i haven't hit it yet but i have seen a number of people case it).

Also, they were setting up the airbag on sunday, im guessing it will be up this week.

Awesome! :eusa_clap: Yeah and I ran that line a week ago (the two upper mediums, then through the trees to the progression line, a few medium jumps then I just use the rail kickers to do grabs at the bottom)... Those medium kickers you hit at first look way bigger in real life! Or may just way bigger to me.

I also hit that first Large jump on the right side just after the cat track. Just barely knuckled it but man it seems like a big jump compared to the mediums.

Fun stuff though! They really know how to build a park.

Just keep working on your stuff, looks smooth already. Like anything the more you do it the more comfy it'll get. I tried to do a switch jump off a lip Friday and a little grab. Felt like it would have been easier to land on the moon!

lol thanks. its easier to spin switch then straight air switch imo. i think i would die off of that if i didn't try to spin it.

ya large with the log jump beside it is one of the kickier (real word?) jumps. The next one down is super mellow, shaped more like the mediums. Thats the next one i want to spin off of, and then the whale tail. Not a big kick just a bigger drop.
