I feel like when im riding in the park (or anywhere in the matter) my back leg inst as bent as the front. Just thinking about it makes it seems like that would limit the amount of control you have over your board. Why am i doing this? is it just bad habit? are my angles screwy? am i leaning forward or back to much? anyone have any ideas what could be causing it or what i should be doing to fix it? I know that i shouldnt be doing that as every video or other boarder i see in the park (where i reside :p) has both knees bent pretty much equal and it lets them stay low and it also looks good.

Get someone to take some videos of you riding. What you THINK you're doing and what you're ACTUALLY doing are not necessarily the same.

Post the videos.

Agreed.
You'd be surprised how much disparity there may be between what you feel you are doing and what you actually ARE doing!

If you are in fact straighter on your back leg then you are leaning forward. But post a vid for us to have a look.

Not necessarily. Depends on the hip.
Try to observe, where you're weight is. Is it centered or do you have too much weight on the back foot, and hips are skewed?
