Does anyone know anything about Ripzone boards? I'm a total beginner (only snowboarded once) so looking for something affordable and beginner friendly. Ripzone has great deals at Sportchek (Canadian site) but I can't seem to find many reviews or much discourse about the brand in general. I was initially going to buy a used Lamar board with bindings because I found one for $100 but after reading horrible testimonials about Lamar I'm not debating whether I should just buy a new Ripzone board.

What would be most ideal for me being 5’10” 190lb I keep getting mixed review and people saying the board should be around you bottom lip. Now is that with or without shoes on?

I’m looking to get my first board. I’ve only borrowed from friends before. And I don’t hit the parks often as I feel that I’m now too old and sure to break my body doing so. Still have some confusion of the different styles of riding like free style vs all mountain?
