Hello

There are some boards I like to hang up for display and will like to remove the stomp pads from these early 2000s boards.

What is the safest way to take them out? I'm guessing using a dryer to heat it up? I don't want to damage the top sheet underneath the pad and will opt out of removing the pads if it gets damaged.

Thanks

Heat gun, plastic scraper to help peel off and use automotive adhesive remover. You can get it from auto suppliers. Keep surface moist when scraping. It also depends on the adhesive type some will be easy some will be hard to remove.

I just pull it off slowly. Maybe heat it first with a blow dryer or sun and/or use a metal scraper to pry it up slowly from the corner.
