So I'm just looking for a little advice.
I'm looking to buy all new gear since everything is to small after a few years away from riding.
I'm looking to grab some boots first and have my eye on two diff pairs the ions and the slx. But I'm not sure if I should just wait for next years stuff?
I already know what boot size I am going to fit into so I don't think it should hold me back from buying a board or bindings while things are on sale.
Should I wait for next seasons stuff or take advantage of the sales.
Or maybe hold off on the boots and get a board and bindings.

I use the Ions and if you can find your size on sale you should get them IMO. I don't know what new tech they are adding for next year, but they are already sweet boots.

If you are still growing it might be better to buy in the fall, but otherwise I'd grab stuff on sale now.

I'm on my 3rd pair of ions, consistently happy with them.

I've owned both from the same year.

I ended up returning the SLX.

While the slx were lighter the ions are actually stiffer and I prefer that.

Also the ions on my foot do not have the same strange pressure point that the slx had.

This is my 3rd pair of ions.

im happy with them. the slx were great but i really liked these. and i did not want to risk buying a boot online withought trying on the right size.
