Looking for a certain board to add to my quiver

I snowboard on the east coast primarily. I’m an upper intermediate. The board NEEDS good ice/hard pack hold. Currently, my boards consist of

Libtech Lib Rig (for when I am in the mood for stiffer/bombing)

Libtech Skate Banana (because I don’t have any other boards besides these 2)

I have demo’d the following boards and for one reason or another they weren’t the right boards for me:

Jones Mountain Twin
Jones Flagship
Jones Aviator 2.0
Jones Mind Expander
Jones Hovercraft
Yes PYL Uninc DCP

i’m looking for one more stable than the skate banana, but less stiff than the Lib Rig. It’s mainly for those days where I’m completely off my game/trying to get back into the swing of things (like beginning of season), but at the same time still wanna pick up some speed. Looking for it to be pretty forgiving and kind of playful. I don’t do park, I only do resort/groomers/trees. This board would need pretty good trees capabilities.

I take size 10 boot/146lbs.

Something full camber. Pentaquark would be good if you weren't looking for something softer.

Got a 155w sims dealers choice I could sell you for $200. A fun, flexy and chill, flat camber directional twin built by neversummer.
The Lib Rig already has the whole “full camber/C3 profile” area covered. But thanks :)

How is the ice/hardpack capabilities on the huck knife? Also what capita would you recommend?
Get a huck knife then.

Or a capita
You are gonna limit yourself if you only are concerned about ice/hard pack. As someone from Wisconsin, while most of the time it's pretty firm and icy it's not always that way. No reason you can't have a board you enjoy more on days when the snow is good. You already have a bunch of boards for when the snow isn't good, why do you need more? Personally if there's good snow I don't want any magnetraction or edge tech beyond a variable side cut and I just want solid camber.
It would probably help to know what you didn’t like about the Aviator and Mtn Twin as each of those would likely land a a list based on what you’re looking for.

Aviator was too heavy and way too stiff, Mtn twin had too much chatter, you felt every last nic and cranny there was.

In NY, out of 40 days I did in 1 season only 4 days were powder days. The rest of the time it is firm and icy. This past season, 30 days the same thing. Which is why it is an important factor, getting a powder board to store in my ny apartment for 4 days a season would not be practical. I only have 2 boards though. The rest were demos.

Seems like you like Mervin boards, so I'd look at the Headspace or Box Knife. Gonna be much more stable than the Skate Banana but still easily butterable.

I'd also check on your boot size; that's a huge boot size for your weight, so unless you're very tall and skinny it's possible you could size down.
I usually have ended up with Mervins because the magnetraction I know is good for Ice, the jones also have good ice grip but just couldn’t find the right board for me. I had eyed the ride Shadowban or Capita mercury/peaceseeker because I heard good things, but then I read they aren’t good on hardpack/ice. The 10 size is finicky, it is mostly because I have wide feet. The Burton Photon 10 wide feels super comfy, whereas the k2 maysis completely squeezes my feet both length and width wise. However, the k2 i still need to get heat molded.

Yes Standard or Greats, Arbor Coda Camber or Santori Camber, Jones Stratus or Mind Expander, Gnu Gremlin would be my thoughts, all offer edge disruption and a mid to slightly above mid flex
the greats is one i have been eyeing, does it have good flex and low chatter?

i hated the mind expander, that one isn’t an option. How does the stratos handle ice?

Yes the greats has low chatter, while being true twin its stiffer then most park decks, I like it as a deck I can freeride with but still can press and mess around for freestyle flair, the stratos is a bit softer IMO then the flagship.

In regards to the mind expander did you ride this years camber deck or last seasons rocker version?
I rode this year’s camber deck. I don’t mind the stratos being softer if it handles ice/hardpack good. How is the edgehold on the greats?

No issues, personally Yes has my favorite side cut for Ice/hardpack, used to be a Mervin guy but find their edge tech to be too much for my liking, Arbors got a nice approach as well and the CODA CAMBER is an incredibly approachable deck
Your lib rig should be perfect for ice already. Not sure exactly what your looking. Again, go full camber but good luck finding stuff on the soft side outside of park boards.

Or just buy a pow board, it's not that hard to stack and store boards in a single box to minimize space.

Yeah, it is great for ice and bombing. However, due to the stiffness on it, that’s gonna need to be a board I’ll be on top of my game for. Which is why I’m looking for a more softer/flexible one for when I’m not on top of it.

Gnu Riders choice C2. Enough rocker to keep it playful and decent in powder, stiff and stable enough for speed, magnetraction for east coast ice.
