Will be in Montreal for a short few days and wanted to experience either mountain to check it off my list. I know Mont Blanc is about an hour and fifteen from downtown montreal and Mont Tremblant is about 1.5 hr. Does it make sense for me to drive there and back on the same day or would I be better off spending one night at one of the ski resort accommodations?

How does the drive from montreal to tremblant compare to like denver to vail or salt lake city to the cottonwood canyons?

Also Is there anywhere i can rent demo/performance snowboards? Their website rental information seem like it's for beginner/rental equipments.
Since it's a short trip and I only planned on hitting the slopes for one day I prefer not to lug my snowboard luggage around and just rent (will bring my own boot tho).

TIA for any insights.
