I thought I’d share a moment of Zen.
Down at the beach with my morning coffee and the sun is shining on Baker.
Opted for a weekend at home to avoid the MLK weekend crowds.
Way to warm out today too.

We haven’t had much sunshine at Big White this year. It’s even more foggy than usual. Friday evening it was raining at the base of Gem, but I still did a lap today because we’ve had over a foot of snow since it was last open. Great snow up top, but reminded me of coastal snow half way down.

Now that we are 1/2 through January, How’s the Special Effects been treating you?

I just haven’t had good conditions for it. I had It out on a bit of pow day, but it was tracked out so quickly. It’s terrible in rutted terrain! I’m looking forward to spring.
