Yo, im in my second season boarding. i basically just hit the park and do butters. I sometimes go off track but not too much.

im basically just keen for a park setup. i want to get good pop, learn flips, do rails and all that jazz.

im 5ft 11. weigh around 170 pounds. i also need a wide board because my feet are 12 us! and i would like it to last a while!

Let me know what sort of set up i should get including height, board and bindings! :)

If you're just learning park this season and plan to spend a lot of time there, don't spend a lot of money. Your first dedicated park board will get thrashed when you're learning! Clipping rails and boxes etc beats them up quick. One wrong hit and there goes your edge. Buy whatever you can that fits your feet, is soft to medium flex, and your preferred profile. You could spend more money on a good set of bindings and move those to a newer board once you destroy this one ;)

Devastating

Flow era 155 wide
Arbor westmark midwide
Rome Reverb rocker wide
Salomon villian 155 wide (i have a previous version, apparently this years is not as good.)

Bindings, lots to choose from, I have been riding vitas and they are good, boss 390, nitro phantoms, targas (might be a bit stiff) are all bindings i have had and liked, k2 formulas are nice too but mine would twist on me, maybe i just got a bad set as i have not heard anyone else having this issue, i put the toe caps from them on my vitas though, i don't love burtons toe cap.

I'm a kiwi as well. In NZ I'd recommend this 2016 GUERILLA SNOWBOARD - Snow

156 wide, use promo code 'crew' for an extra 10% off, or wait it out and they often have 15-20% off deals.
not a bad option at all, i have last years board(am currently ridding it), camber between the feet with a sharp rocker after, the side cut is a bit tighter than most so it likes to turn a lot. Didn't think you guys would have access to endevour.

Its not going to be the softest but its got a big flat spot outside the bindings to press with. It could be torsionally softer to be really really good for butters but it is manageable. Its maybe a bit more towards the all meowntain freestlye category than park. The other boards I listed will be a bit softer, the era might be around the same, but the others should all be softer than those 2.
