I bought this repaired board at a low price to make 12 days maximum a year and use it for 2 seasons.. before i touch the snow for this season I noticed that on the side that the board is repaired whith epoxy the base and the edge have a dent 1mm upwards that makes a small inclination on the edge and returns at the right place after few centimeters ..so the damage has come from rock on the base that bent the board and chipped the top sheet.
I feel that it maybe won't affect the sidecut because the first touch at the nose is at the
right place and the only inclination on the sidecut is at the dent that it won't touch.
I am worried about it because if I have to pay for a board I just can't have money to ride so I had to ask if it's supposed to affect the toe side carving or the overall ride.

Got better pics that shows the dent upwards? You should flex it at that spot? It looks like it was over flexed (delamed), perhaps done when landing heavy. If it was the edge hit on rock, it could be a significant hit to delam in that spot. Any it was a hack diy repair... definitely not a pro shop job. If it creeks, moans or if more flexy there... its basically toast. You might be able to ride it for a bit but would not trust it and certainly not trust it for aggressive riding or launching yourself. Imo it should be really cheap... like free

Thank you for all the useful informations! It doesn't flex different on this spot, neither moans or creeks hopefully!a trustful repair guy told me that if we put out the epoxy to flex it to the point we will make it worse but he thinks that it will be ok as it is now..I don't know, hope it is because I ride fast and at the average 7 times a season I'm hoping to have with this board for two seasons I want it to push it hard.. I am used to charge very bad rental boards that they're not made for it all the time so I just hoped that from that year I will start ride something better!I wish it will be a step up
