Hey guys, I'm looking for a new board for East Coast conditions. I mostly am boarding in PA at Blue mnt. or similar mnts. I have been boarding for about 4-5 years and have been using a Burton Clash I bought used for the past two seasons. I am 6'0 tall and 190 lbs and the Clash I bought is a 162 W board, and I am only a size 9-10 boot so this thing can be quite the boat. I typically board blues to blacks and have been a little heavier on the black trails this past season even hitting some dbl blacks this season. I'm looking for a board that I can grow to become more of an advanced rider and get better at holding an edge on carving. The clash is a Rocker-Flat-Rocker profile and I'd like to maybe buy something a little more aggressive like a Rocker-Camber-Rocker profile.

I've been looking into a Jones Explorer, Jones Mountain Twin, Rossignol One Magtek, or the tried and true Burton Custom. Any recommendations for a R-C-R East Coast Ice intermediate board?

Thanks!

I'm in a similar boat as you. 170 pounds, ride mostly in PA, 4 years, currently riding a flat wide profile and looking for more camber. I'm looking at the Yes line (Greats, Standard, and Typo), the Custom, and NS Proto type 2. Leaning towards one of the Yes boards pretty heavily though. I have only ridden one board ever so don't take my reply as advice in any direction. Just pointing out some other boards you might want to look into. Do you ride switch at all?

Not really, I've been trying to practice more switch riding lately though. It's a little tough with the bigger wider board when I should most definitely not be riding a W board at all with size 9.5 boots. Thanks though I will definitely take a look at the Yes lineup. Thank you
