Flying with Jetstar from Australia to Tokyo mid December it felt like the entire plane was Aussies going snowboarding/skiing... Walking down the isles (to the toilets etc), all i heard was Negaaarrrrno (Nagano) and knee-say-ko (niseko)... Not to mention the baggage claim belt was 90% snow gear. Safe to say they are coming out in numbers again this year...

Its funny, i think Australians believe there is only 2 places where snow falls in Japan (the aforementioned places).
