So I bought this bib that is oversized for myself. the legs are a little bit longer which is how i like it but the body part is a little spacious for my torso since i'm slim. I'm about 6'2". Will this be a problem later if the body part of the bib is roomy?

I don't know how you ride but I can tell you one thing; baggy is never bad for snowboarding. I busted the two way side zipper out of my brand new Dakine Beacons a couple years ago while riding and I wasn't even doing anything crazy. It's just that I got them in more of a true fit size instead of baggier so there wasn't much room to flex. As long as you aren't dragging on the ground and getting caught in your bindings, I'd say sag it up.

Disagree. Freedom of movement is essential but that does not need to mean baggy. articulation, stretch fabrics etc can go a long way without wrapping yourself in bedsheets of excess material that billow in the wind like a sail...
All a question of degree of course, but for bibs in particular it can really mess with layering, wearing a backpack etc

Probably depends how baggy we're talking.. You say roomy so I assume they aren't ridiculously too big. Mine are what I would consider roomy meaning they're comfortable but they aren't like multiple sizes too big. If yours are just roomy you should be totally fine!

Almost every pair of bib's that I've owned has come with belt-loops so you have that option (to cinch it up with a belt). Otherwise, I think the only problem you'll have (and it's really not that big of a problem) is that you'll lose heat and run the risk of having snow get into your pants (not all the time, but it seems to happen at the worst times if it does happen at all) if the garment is too loose. Plus, who wants the upper part of the bib floating around extra loose under your jacket while you're riding - imo that wouldn't be comfortable/convenient especially if you like to get in/out of your inside jacket pockets all the time.
