We brought the warm Swiss weather with us, lol. Expected many things in PNW, like whiteout n flat light, but surely not to ride in bluebird conditions. Had some phantastic views of the volcanoes surrounding Bachy today! Fun fast laps on huge groomers and noon corn in trees.

Great day out meeting SBF ppl n having chats n beers n cheese n chocolate. Wasn't fast enough to take a picture of the full plate, they ate it away quickly, lol, they seemed to like the Swiss apèro :). I equally love the local beer; the local breweries do awsome porters.

Conditions improved, heavy wet snowfall is testing our outware, lol.

Snow-mobile :)

We had a blast riding with such a great crew! It was so awesome to watch the crew leaving the chairs and shredding those groomers into pieces :D
Super stoked to ride with @Rogue, never ridden together with a gal before and it was so much fun to ride first to last chair.
Thanks a ton to all for making our stay such a fun experience! We missed the pow but had a ton of fun nonetheless.
Conditions: firm in the morning, slightly softer at noon; those bowls made the legs work, lol.

Today's SBF crew: Mr. Neni, @Rogue, @Argo, @ridinbend, @16gkid, @neni, @KK2242 @chomps1211, Argo Jr.

Thanks a ton to @Argo and family! You made us enjoy this place so much!

On the road to Washington w @chomps1211 to meet @wrathfuldeity. Bagage Tetris :). Who would have thought how much gear fits into a Subaru, lol.

First day at Crystal Mountain: was raining hard but had such a great day shredding with the guys.

Wrath brought some good ol' camber boards: WOW! Holy!!! I had such a blast carving that old '04 Option Trinity 158 full camber! That board felt as if it was built for me  Got a HUGE smile tucked to my face! Thanks, Wrath, for lending that board to me! Had a hard time to let her go :)

Was a pleasure to meet n ride with you guys!

Likewise, had an absolute blast with Neni, Mr Neni and Chomps. Neni with that Option... stunningly beautiful ripping carves...old school...BADASS!
Experiencing how crazy fun such a long but narrow camber deck is to ride (158 with 23.8 waist, innit?) constantly amazes me that nothing alike is produced anymore.

Thanks for your hints on how to DIY additional inserts. I'll gonna try if I can transform my Radair into something with a comfy stance. She's not as narrow as the Option, but worth a try.

Had a blast riding with her, Wrathful leading the way!! The weather stayed cold overnight,.. So the groomers were soft, fast & smooth for the most part,.. Visibility was GREAT!!! And to top it all off after the POW day yesterday,.. The clouds lifted & I finally got to see Mt. Baker in all it's glory!!! :jumping1:

A perfect ending to an AWESOME trip!!
Wow! Those mts look glorious! So glad you got some sweet conditions up there.

It continued to rain at Crystal 2 days. But we got one bluebird with nice view on Mt. Rainier and deep mushed corn in trees riding all over the mtn with locals. The tree runs at Crystal were simply awesome! Steep pitch, spaced pines... must be a blast in light pow!

Yesterday it began to snow hard and it was amazing like within some hours, the groomers were already covered by freshies.
We certainly have to come back when PNW is in prime season with snow instead of rain. The terrain is soooo sweet.

We were lucky to get a view on Mt. Rainier:

At noon, the rained on frozen crusts made for sweet corn runs in trees

The options on this mtn seem endless

Next day, the it begun to dump :=D

We loved our stay at PNW! We'll certainly be back in a period of the season when there'll be snow. Such beautiful mtns, the beer is awesome, I totally got addicted to nachos and we met so many lovely ppl!

Let's do it.
Do it!

Almost 3 year bump! My god I forgot about the crazy goggle tan I had that week, anyone up to do this again this year? @neni arent you and the Mr due for another North America trip?
If I hand endless vacay days :). Got no long-distance snow trips planned this year. We're hunting pow on this side of the pond for the time being.

But will love to follow a meet-up thread.
