We'll visit PNW next spring and will be in Bend mid March :yahoo:

Who's in for a meet-up at Mt. Bachelor Sat 11th or Sun 12th March?

Good grief. I know enough to steer clear of potential tree wells, but now there's vents? fuuuu

With how fast you go you'll just fly over it like a tire going over a pot hole.

So there are a few yearly spots where the warm air/gas vents around the mountain. I know where the regulars are but this one popped up randomly in a very peculiar spot. There aren't many and they're pretty visible, most of the time. The few I know of are deep in the sidecountry off NW lift.

Speaking of fast, @Argo's kid pretty much doesn't turn. He just points it and rides over whatever is in his way.

March is going to be epic. Deep days all month. So....be prepared.

AHAHAHAAH @neni
@ridinbend duuuuuude! @Argo's son was a blast to ride with on the NW side through the trees. I had never been there before and it was so rad. He was jibbing little pine trees and just flowing through the place. He was courteous too and would stop to make sure I was still behind him. There was one huge wide open area I almost fell in (blind landing) but otherwise it was ok. I'm stoked to head down there with everyone.

He must have used the pump. Here's a few more inches than the prior shot.

OMG... you really already have winter! Brilliant. Very very envious :)

(We still have sort of summer. Non-stop sunshine. That's nice as well, but... ;))

Really excited for this season. Bachelor is going to look miles better than Tahoe. Wouldn't mind attending this gathering with the wife.

I'd be down to come. If it doesn't conflict with my Canada trip you can count me in.

I'd be coming solo, so I'd need some help. Anyone got a place to crash? Anyone have the hookup on buddy passes? What airport to fly into? With all the other trips I have planned, I'd have to be conservative on dough.

I'd need some info as the closest I've been in that area is Vancouver.

You would fly into redmond/bend. Alaska, United and American fly in there....

Ok, I'm REALLY going to have to make it to this. Bought the Max Pass this year, which gives you 5 days at a shitload of resorts including Bachy. Bring it on!

There are some 30/day tickets floating around town for charity, I'll try to find a link.

On well, the cheaper ones are for specific dates... the college ones are valid for most dates.

ya all got me think'n....checked on flights from the ham...not bad...but probably drive down and dirtbag in the beater snow truck or wagon so I could also hit hood and crystal...but could be up to possibly split a dirt bag motel or some sleeping bag space. If I can pull all of this off with the boss lady.
