Likewise, had an absolute blast with Neni, Mr Neni and Chomps. Neni with that Option... stunningly beautiful ripping carves...old school...BADASS!
Experiencing how crazy fun such a long but narrow camber deck is to ride (158 with 23.8 waist, innit?) constantly amazes me that nothing alike is produced anymore.

Thanks for your hints on how to DIY additional inserts. I'll gonna try if I can transform my Radair into something with a comfy stance. She's not as narrow as the Option, but worth a try.

...a tad over 24" iir! Why?

Crystal was fun,.. even if it was a little damp. Groomers were fast at the top of one of the 3 lifts running. Got a little sticky @ the bottom as the day warmed, but all in all, a fun day of falling on my butt with @wrathfuldeity @neni and SO! >:)

(...it is just an absolute pleasure watching those two carve shit up! :D. Such Amazing ability!)

@timmytard Neni needs an Option Trinity 158 or maybe an Option Vinson in a 158

I will keep my eye out here south of the boarder

Copy that.
It's as good as found.

I still keep my eye out for that first board of hers.
Can't remember the name of it?
But I remember what it looks like.

First Day /w Wrath @ Baker!

Ok,.. It was damp yesterday @ Crystal! All My stuff was pretty wet! But today @ Mt.Baker,…?? SOAKED TO THE BONE!
And we were actually getting snow at the top unlike the rain at Crystal! I've never finished a day of riding as wet as I was today!

……but FUN-N-N-N-N!

It was still pretty soft & Deep at the top of lift 7 or was it 5? (Can't remember which) This lift here,….

… of course @neni? Wrath says it wasn't actually Pizza!

Whole different type of riding today than what I've been doing the last few days @ Bachelor & Crystal! It was deep enough that I had to stay "back foot" all day. It took me a bit to get used to riding like I would for POW on this wetter, firmer kind of deep soft snow & that rear quad of mine didn't last long!

I had a blast tho!! Wrathful took me down something the locals call "Blood Alley!" I managed to get down without bloodying myself anyway! (….Heart was POUNDING @ the bottom & not from exertion either!!!) :rofl3:

Looking forward to tomorrow & the prospect of more wet fresh to ride! Here are a few more shots I got of some of the amazing (and intimidating as hell,…) terrain here!

Riding here today with @wrathfuldiety was awesome! I can't thank him & his family enough for welcoming me into their home!
(…and No!! I'm not writing this trapped inside the creepy basement!!) LOL ;)

It sounds like you're learning why we always hear the PNW riders carrying on about gore-tex

Thanks for posting those pics. That looks like a ton of fun.

I def want to come next year. I'm actually about to hop on a flight to Portland now but i don't think I'll make it out to the mountains.

Next year let's put this in a travel or a general board! ;)

You guys look like good people and a good crew.

Got to ride the infamous Flagship and what a trip! It is the longest deck I've ridden and quite fascinating. Not something that is practical for my style and location of riding, but glad I got to see how it felt. One hell of a plank, but it's so stiff and stable it would take a lot to fall over. It's not for the lazy rider *cough cough*. I thought I was going to wash right out after stepping back onto my Ladies Choice lol. Very different technique to ride either board. I was laughing the whole run down because it was just so different!
16gkid had some serious positive vibes going and I had a blast riding with everyone. Conditions were poopoo (compared to this seasons standards) so maybe better luck for next year's meet up!

btw I may have spotted snowwolf today. @jae had posted a youtube video he found of him and he's definitely riding meadows. Today a guy with the same flag went riding down the mountain...made me wonder..?

Not,.. for lack of trying however!!

Last night I went to bed looking forward to another day of riding "wet" fresh,… Instead, I woke up this morning to discover that the Gods had at last smiled down on me!

The temperature had cooled and overnight Baker had gotten anywhere between 5"-9" of light LOVELY pow by morning!!! :jumping1: :jumping1:

Wrathful has been doing his best to push me. (….Into an early grave it seemed at times!) And today was no different! He guided me to a number of really awesome & amazing pow turns on,.. what for me was some STEEP Freakin' terrain! I did OK! (…sort of!) I did wind up having one good POW slam where I definitely got my bell rung!

I Don't know if I flipped, endo'd, or did a single tomahawk! I only know that the lady on the lift above me, sounded VERY concerned as she repeatedly shouted "Are You All Right?" :rofl3: I think I managed to find "the Bottom" of the days fresh with my head on that one!

Then,.. after lunch Wrath had a little surprise for me!

The Canyon,….!!! :surprise:

(To be continued….)

The Canyon continued,….

My legs were toast before I started down this. So I'm not making any claims to have actually "ridden" this chute,... I'm so physically spent at this point, I'm just Barely managing to sideslip my way down & around the bumps,… My only claim here is that "I survived it!!"

Resting about a 3rd of the way down.

…at the bottom finally! Deadman Sitting!!! Absolutely NOTHING left!!

So now,.. if you don't mind? I'm going to collapse into bed! LoL! More to come tomorrow!!!

Chomps,

Glad you are having such a great time out there.

Questions:

A. How did you get an Instagator?
B. Why is there a foam backpacking sleeping pad in the snow behind you ???

Inquiring minds wanna know...

Haha sounds like a blast.

Chomps, can you see now why I've been preaching the big directional Cadillac boards?

Do a lot of switch riding out there?:embarrased1:
In that thick porridge?
Prolly not?

Have you got that thing set up right?
Centered=not a good day
Setback=better
Slammed back=now we're talking.

I'd imagine wrath set you up?
You may need even more setback than what he thinks?

More is better than less.

Cause holy shit, just looking at that wide ass stance, so perfectly twinned.
Is making my back leg hurt.

Don't get me wrong, I got a wide ass stance too.
It's just 2 feet closer to the tail than the nose.

I see a big directional Cadillac in your future after this trip.

Today your last day there?
Cause I'm positive I could find you something fun to ride and get to keep before you left.
