Welp, they did it again. A couple of weeks ago I unstrapped at the bottom of a run and saw that my base was delaminating. (I posted about it here: http://www.snowboardingforum.com/boards/75018-defective-rome-board.html)

Well, I ended up sending my board to Rome warranty and I just got confirmation that they're sending me a brand-spanking-new Mod Rocker 156. The delam totaled the board. If you see the pictures attached to my linked post, the base started to peel up where the base decals come together. It started "bubbling" up around other parts of the base too.

This is my second time getting in touch w/ Rome warranty this winter (the first time was to swap out some dodgy 390 Boss ratchets). Regardless, I couldn't have been happier with their customer service, timeliness and professionalism!

I just sent in a request for new ratchets and they got back to me within a day. Big +1 for their warranty dept but pretty disappointed in breaking a ratchet on my 13 bosses on the first day out on them. My last pair of 390's have 3 seasons on them so I'm hoping its just a fluke and the new ratchets last as long. Either way I'll probably keep buying rome as long as they take care of customers quickly.

What is the problem you are having on the ratchets? Mine have been ok (not as buttery as Burton and Raidens for me) but when it was slushy on Mammoth, some of the slush got inside the ratchets and they would not lock in. No click, no lock, just a loose strap.

Other than that they've been fine.

One of the springs broke about midway through the day so it wouldn't lock down the ankle strap. Compared the design to my old 09 390 ratchets and its the same so I'm hoping it was just a fluke bad part.
