This is a good time as always. There will be significant raffle. Rumor has it we will be giving away a Never Summer split. Come on out, have a good time and support FOBP.

Friends of Berthoud Pass celebrates 10 years of advocacy, outreach and avalanche education this winter.

We are kicking off this milestone season with the Powderwhore's latest film ELEVATION at the Oriental Theater-- a well-loved annual tradition-- and joining them for a tour through Denver, Boulder and Golden.

Lots of great sponsors have stepped up to support FOBP this year. We'll have freebies as well as specials on Upslope beer. Proceeds from the raffle at each of these tour stops will benefit the FOBP grassroots avalanche education program. Buy your raffle tickets in bulk (because you can't win if you don't play).

Last time I went t see a snow porn premier at The Oriental, there was a line around the block and tickets were sold out.

Not going to make that mistake again; I'm buying my tickets ahead of time online. :thumbsup:

Don't know if it's expected to sell out, but last year's Powderwhore movie was pretty full. I think we ended up sitting on the floor of the balcony.

According to Powderwhore, this is the biggest event of their tour. It'll be a sell out for sure. So get your tix.

Who's gonna be there? I'll be down at the Oriental fairly early setting some stuff up. Anyone want to meet at Big Hoss for some BBQ and beers before hand?

I am out for the Golden show. I'll be doing the Wildyx on Tuesday.

The movie is pretty damn good. Way more snowboarding than any of their previous movies. A good chunk of it has riders. So props to Jonah and Noah.

Jivestick aka Bob Athey aka Wizard of the Wasatch is a splitter and is well featured throughout the movie with his awesome crusty old man rants. Dude rides an average of 10k vert a day in the bc on his split. Wrap your head around that one.
