My buddy passed away a year ago from an overdose and his snowboard was left in my friend's possession. I want to buy it from him and am wondering what a fair price is....
It's a Rome Machine 2006 board (154 cm) and has Technine bindings that are probably just as old. The whole getup is in kind of rough shape and I would need to do some minor repair of the base with a good tune-up and some p-tex love and give the rusty edges some love and attention, too. I don't think the whole set is worth a whole lot given that it's almost 11 years old and has had a lot of character build up over the years from hard riding, but what would be a fair price for me to pay my friend for it?

Agreed. He should pay you a $25 disposal fee, but if you were nice you would agree to waive that fee. It sounds like you are going to put more effort into that board than it is even worth.
