Hello all,

It's about GNU ARBON CREDIT WIDE BTX or just BTX
I'm thinking to by this board, but before that I wanted to ask something for it.
It's my 4th seasson snowboarding. My current board is quite hard.
I'm 185cm and 85 kilos
I'm able to do some flat tricks but I want to be able to do some more.

Is this board suitable for tricks and freeride at the same time?
Sometimes I just want to ride not to do any tricks or something like that.

Thank you very much

Wide or not Wide. It's all bout your feet size.
If you got 11+ go wide
If you wanna ride some pow and land tricks there - go pow.

If nothing of this - go regular.

Hi Orlix,

Yes, this model is designed to do what you are describing. It is a freestyle oriented all mountain board. Please let us know your foot size. Rider height is not a factor in board sizing but foot size plays a huge role. Let us know and we will find you the perfect Carbon Credit.

i have size ten boots, but enjoy a hard carve so i prefer wide boards to avoid toe and heel drag. I feel that the btx boards are really turny and so going slightly wide does not slow edge to edge response as much. I feel the oppitsite is true with flat boards; ride dh2, k2 fastplant. Something to due with how much board is on the snow when your weight is centered. Carbon credit is one of the best bang for you buck board on the market. A little more freeride then its compition, capita indoor fk, and the k2 raygun.

Hi all,

my foot size is 12 (Men's USA), or 46 Euro.

I've heard that the edge-to-edge it's a bit tricky with that board is that true?

So the general opinion is that the board is good for tricks and freeride as well?

I'm goofy BTW if it does matter :)
Thanks

i have size 11 and ride a carbon credit but its not wide. no problem with toe or heel drag. the normal board is more flex than the wide. the smaller the size the more flex

It's normal to be like that but with my height it's stupid to get shorter board.
The longest one is 165 cm , my current one is 165.

My question was is it OK for combined riding freeride and freestyle because on some sides you can read that it's for freeride on another it's all mountain:)

Thanks

At 187 lb / size 12, you are an overlap size for the 159 Wide and the 162 Wide.

This is an all terrain board with a freestyle bias, so it will be perfectly suited for what you ant to to. If your goal is to improve your freesyle riding an stuill use the board for everything else, my top suggestion would be the 159 Wide.

Happy riding!

Hi again,

oki obviously I have much to learn :)
But can someone give a final advice which size to buy 165/162/159?
Obviously it's a good board so only the size left to decide :)

Thanks again

Read the quoted post below (which came from just above) Wiredsport just suggested sizing.
