I was getting some arch pain/burning while riding in 2019 Vans Implant Pro. I went to a local fitter and he said he knew what the problem was right away.
He said that they did not have insoles for half sizes so they put an insole in that was slightly too long and resulted in the arch raising and causing pain. He trimmed the insoles and it seems to have helped.
Has anyone else heard of this as a common issue with Vans boots?

I believe it's common for boot shells to be designed in whole sizes. They adjust the liners and insoles to take up more or less volume to make up the difference. It's not just Vans. Maybe more companies are starting to do one to one sizing, but I think it's expensive to make the boot shell molds.
