I don't need a large amount of space for this and like I said I don't do a whole lot of uploading so YouTube might be the way to go. I guess at this point it comes down to whoever has the most pain-free signup .
Youtube allows you to download more video with their free account. I guess it's not unlimited but it is a lot. They rape your vids for music copyrights and such. That is the main reason I quit using them.
Vimeo is a bit more limited download wise. I think it is one HD video a week for their free account. They also make you wait something like an hour before they render and upload your video. The quality is much better than youtube. They do not remove your videos due to music copyrights either. I have been thinking about upgrading my account with them. At least during the winter months.
If you are just throwing up vids without much editing and music. Youtube is fine. If you are making mini videos like the ones I posted up last spring, vimeo is a better choice imo.
